I am having a heck of a time adding widgets or making comments here in Ning. When I click on the Add or save button, Ning shuts down and I lose my post. I was able to add a widget to a personal blog, I added a countdown ticker counting down the days until my daughter leaves for college. I am going to try adding a widget one more time to this site and if it doesn't work, then I am going to revert back to my old "23 Things Blog" and use that instead.

I spent some time making a flyer for some programs we are having here at our branch. I need to figure out how to shrink our logo and then re-upload it, but other than that it was fairly simple. What a cool site! I took an Exel file and converted it to Word. I am not sure when I would need to do this, but it seems like in the past I had something I wanted converted. It only took a minute to get back to my email. Also included in the email was a link to "hot" video conversions. I was curious to see what people were converting and it turned out it was mostly porn. Maybe I should have been warned with the title "hot". I quickly clicked out of that link!

I signed up in Ning as soon as I finished my 23 Things. I was raring to go, ready to tackle more "things". That was over a week ago. I don't know what happened, I guess I needed a break. But I am back and now that I have settled on my pretty background, I can get on with business....tomorrow.

p.s. I tried to add a widget from LibraryThing in my "play" box, but it doesn't work.
