Sandy Nicholls PDF Form Filler Freeware

I have bookmarked this for future use. Any site that can do anything to make a PDF form easier has my vote. Now, if they could only come up with a program to help people print. We charge 10 cents a page for copies. Yes, that little bit on the second page does count! Yes, the extra 20 page… Continue

Julia Hanson More on Image Editing

I'm still exploring Thing 36 and online image editing. Fauxto - One of Mary's suggestions was Fauxto. Since her blog entry, the service has merged with another company. It appears to be the same little utility but you get to it at www.splashup.com. This site looks like Photoshop. In theory you can work in layers, capture an image from a web cam, the tools are a lot alike - lasso, color picker, etc. Problem is, I just co… Continue

Julia Hanson Photoshop Express

In Thing 36 Mary wrote that Photoshop was in the process of working on their online version of an image editor. Well sure enough they are up and running. Photoshop Express is very similar to Photoshop Elements. To be truthful it isn't quite as user friendly as Picnik, but I like the fact that I can edit pictures, then put them into a gallery to share with friends and everyone else in the world. They have done some pretty sophisticated things at PExp… Continue

Julia Hanson Thing 35: Mini or Micro Blogging

OK, so I'm getting to this a little late... Almost a year late. Anyway I explored some of the mini blogging sites that Mary Kyle suggested. Actually I set up my account at Twitter a year ago but haven't revisited the site until today. Personally I can't see much purpose in this service. However, if I could get my kids on board with using it, I'd love it. That way I'd be able to keep up with what they are doing. Twitteroo is a nice little utility that you can download if Twitter ever becomes an o… Continue

Ah-Facebook. I've been asked to join several times over the year. I was asked several times not to join by my children and I respect their opinion and space. I enjoy this learning site and keeping up my site for my branch. Annabel Australians looking for Learning 2.1!

Those of you who haven't been on holidays as well as some of you who have may have noticed a flurry of Australian activity on this network! This finished in December and now some of us who finished are in search of life after #23.
